As the heading progress in jewellery making can be slow especially when you choose to make Gothic jewellery!.
I was just looking through some of my old items of jewellery that I made and being a jewellery artist you don't notice your own progress. Until you look back at your old items, which is why I keep a jewellers journal. It's helpful to track your progress, to know what you can do and what you need to work on just that little bit more. I'll show some pictures of my progress and say a little something about them.
Almost two years ago I made these polymer clay pendants. They look, well like a child made them but that's to be expected when you first give something a go. It can knock peoples confidence when they first start out but keep going you will get better!.
I used to make wire wrapped jewellery but now knowing that most women (even though they think the jewellery looks pretty) they wouldn't actually wear it. So I only make them if requested.
This was one of my first copper wire wrapped glass beads the other is a copper hand made chain and handmade flower

Excuse the crudeness of the photo it

I see my purple coffin! That pendant has gone down so well - even the children at work think it's funky!
