Polymer clay some people ask me what is it? Well its plastic clay and you bake it in the oven to set the plastic into its cured form. Sounds strange doesn't it?, but to a jewellery artist it's the norm.
Unlike metal clay, polymer clay can take much more wear and tear when your working with it, it doesn't dry out, saying that It's not so pliable when a room or the weather is rather cold, it's best to work with it in a warm room so the clay is more pliable.
Its fantastic to work with especially for fun and colourful jewellery. When I first worked with it I was stumped, I didn't have any idea's just come to me, what would people like?, So as time went on I decided not to design what other people wanted, but what I would like wear and I'm sure there are others out there who like what I like, well I'd like to think so anyway!
